Ancora Pinot Grigio, Italy 2007 €14.00

Pinot Grigio is the popular varietal of the moment. Dry, replete with summer fruits and subtle notes of crisp acidity. Perfect on its own as an aperitif, with cassis as a kir or with white meats and fish.

Domaine Uby Colombard  Ugni Blanc, Vin de Pays Gascogne €15

Overflowing with exotic fruit and citrus flavour, this wine has been voted “Coup de Coeur” in the French wine bible “Le Guide Hachette”. Great as an aperitif, fabulous with fish, pasta and cheese dishes.

Château Rambaud Sauvignon Blanc D.Mouty AOC Bordeaux  2006  €21.00

A superb sauvignon blanc produced by Daniel Mouty: the President of the Federation of Independent Aquitaine Wine Producers. Crisp and fruity, the wine is long in the mouth, presenting a velvety softness and a subtle twist.

Punto Niño Sauvignon Blanc – Chilli 2006 €22.00

Fabulous wine from the famous stables of Domaine Laroche (already respected for the quality of their Chablis). This is a beautifully crafted Sauvignon Blanc, replete with orange citrus flavours and a lovely light hint of peppers.

Mâcon Blanc Villages, Michel Picard 2006 €23

100% Chardonnay grape, this wine is both dry and fruity. Beautifully vinified to the Picard standard, it shows hints of apple, which marry perfectly with the richness of the Chardonnay. It drinks well on its own, with a hint of Cassis for a rich Kir, or with white meats, fish and cream based dishes.

Roussette de Savoie, Vins Sans Frontières 2006  €33

Made from Altesse grapes, introduced from Cyprus in the 14th century by Anne of Cyprus, who was a young bride to the elderly Duke of Savoie. Unhappily married, Anne sent for friends to visit and with them they bought chests full of home comforts. These included the root stock of the Altesse grape, and the vines have flourished ever since. This wine received a Seal of Approval from the International Wine Challenge in London two years ago, the only Savoyard wine to do so.

Crozes Hermitage, Petite Ruche, Chapoutie 2005 €33

Pale yellow with vibrant hints of green, this Crozes Hermitages has a beautiful, floral  bouquet of peaches. Great body and texture, a silky, off-dry wine, fabulous with shellfish, salads, or simply as a pleasure on its’ own!

Ondarre Blanco Rioja, 2006 €45

Early picked healthy grapes (predominantly Viura) are fermented in new oak casks at low temperature on the lees. This gives the sensation of volume in the mouth, with an elegant complexity.

Chardonnay du Chateau, Château de Chassagne Montrachet '06 €48

A distinguished wine with a perfect balance provided by maturing on fine lees with stirring over 13 months. A beautiful example of the Chardonnay grape grown on the clay and limestone soils of the Côte de Beaune.

Gravitas, Chardonnay Reserve, New Zealand 2005 €50.00

A powerful, complex Chardonnay with great fruit concentration and impressive length. Ripe citrus and peach fruit are balanced by a rich, creamy palate, with mealy notes and a subtle oak flavour adding complexity.
